Lady Dragonfly is a Warrior Goddess. I love the look of the asian-style dolls, so I wanted to create something special for this lovely "Mulan" doll by Disney and Mattel. I created her kimono-style robe from cotton print. It has black satin trim and lining. The sash is also black satin, trimmed with silver. The back of the kimono has a metallic silver and black dragonfly applique. Her beaded head-dress is completely removable, and her hair has been styled in a simple bun. I plan on doing more asian-style dolls - I think the look is beautiful and elegant. HOME |
