BEFORE

Miss Rita was a donation from my 13-year old next door neighbor.  As frightful as her before pictures are, they don't reveal splits in the scalp that were a result of her previous owner's experementation with hairspray and styling gel.  Her shiny face is not sweat, but layers of hair gel.  I stripped her of her hair and make-up, and, believe me, re-rooting was not easy on a hardened, split head.  But I'm pretty pleased with the results.  I gave her a simple red linen sheath with beading on the neck and throat.  A matching purse with a beaded strap, some sparkley shoes, and, Miss Rita is ready to paint to town red.  PERSONAL COLLECTION
